The acting portrayed in the film is fantastic. The standout players for me are Michael Madsen, Sarah French, and Denny Nolan.

As for one final shout-out, we would like to recognize Denny Nolan as #1, Mr. Turner. We loved Denny in Night of the Tommyknockers. In Death Count, Denny fails to convince that he has ever used the word “m****rf****r” outside the narrow confines of this script. That not only makes for great dark comedy, but makes his character endearing at the same time.

Outside of the main cast, performances did get a bit dry, but some of the supporting actors like Denny Nolan as Henry Middleton do shine.

Each character has clear motivations, and many get cheer-worthy moments in the third act, especially Lucky (Robert LaSardo) and Henry (Denny Nolan).
